There are specific requirements to be met by premises handling pesticides so as to be licensed. These are outlined under Legal Notice (L.N) 145 /1984 CAP 346 Laws Of Kenya.
The Inspection exercise checks whether the Law has been followed by dealers. The inspection intends to achieve the following: - Safeguard the product quality.
- Ensure environmental protection and safety.
- Ensure safety of workers within and around the said premises.
The Premises are then licensed for manufacturing, formulating, packaging distribution, sale or storage activities
